Website information

The website has no customer account, upload field, advertising tracker, analytics script or server-side enquiry form. Contact links pass information to the application you choose; the website application does not submit or store your enquiry details.

Studio4th does not use technical request information for analytics, advertising or enquiry profiling. The hosting infrastructure may automatically process limited information such as an IP address, browser information, requested page and request time to deliver and secure the website. The lawful basis is Artwounds Ltd’s legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. The hosting provider determines retention under its documented security and operational schedule and may preserve records where required to investigate an incident or meet a legal obligation. Contact Artwounds Ltd for the current hosting-retention details.

Enquiries and projects

If you use email or telephone, or choose a link to WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook or Instagram, the selected provider handles the details and message you choose to provide. Meta stores messages sent through its services under its own terms. Artwounds Ltd can access and use those messages to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting project. The website itself does not copy them into a separate enquiry database.

Information is used to respond and take requested steps before a possible contract; perform a contract; pursue legitimate interests in managing enquiries, projects and business records; and comply with legal obligations.

You do not have to provide personal information, but the studio may be unable to assess or perform a requested service without enough contact and project information.

Sharing and transfers

Information may be handled by hosting, email, telephone and messaging providers; professional advisers; and independent architects, builders, planning, structural, building-control or other project consultants where necessary and after their role has been explained. It may also be disclosed where required by law.

WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook and Instagram are Meta services. Meta explains how it collects, retains and transfers information, including transfers outside the UK, in its Privacy Policy. Depending on the service and processing activity, Meta states that it uses applicable UK adequacy arrangements or UK standard contractual transfer mechanisms. Artwounds Ltd accesses messages through the selected Meta service to respond and does not copy them into a separate website enquiry database. Email or telephone remain available as alternatives.

Artwounds Ltd does not sell personal information.

Retention

  • Meta messages remain on the selected Meta platform under its settings and retention policies; Artwounds Ltd does not copy them into a separate website enquiry database.
  • Separate enquiry notes or exports created by Artwounds Ltd that do not become project records: normally 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
  • Project, contractual and financial records: normally six years after the relevant relationship or accounting period ends.
  • Records connected with a dispute, insurance matter or legal requirement: for as long as reasonably necessary for that matter.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it.

Your right to object: you may object at any time to Artwounds Ltd processing your information on the basis of legitimate interests. Artwounds Ltd will stop unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds to continue or the information is needed for legal claims.

Use the Studio4th contact page. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
